Student Awards
Each year, Oklahoma City Community College recognizes the outstanding curricular and co-curricular achievements of students. Students will be recognized for the following achievements:
- Certificate of Appreciation – Campus Involvement
- Civic Honors – Service Award
- President's Volunteer Service Award
- Certificate of Achievement – Academic Affairs
- Certificate of Achievement – Community & Workforce Development
- Honors Graduates – Academic Award
- President's Award for Excellence – Academic Award
Certificate of Appreciation
Students nominated for this award have displayed significant effort for the improvement
of the greater good through co-curricular involvement, such as membership in a student
organization, serving as a peer mentor or writing for the Pioneer. These students
displayed outstanding academic achievement, inspired and motivated others, and exemplified
integrity in all words and actions.
Certificate of Achievement: Academic Affairs
Students nominated for this award have been identified by their faculty as exemplary
students in the academic or certificate program. Each academic or certified program
can nominate up to two students.

Students nominated for this award have been identified by their faculty as exemplary
students in the academic or certificate program. Each academic or certified program
can nominate up to two students.
Honors Program
The Honors Program at Oklahoma City Community College challenges and invites full-time
and part-time students to develop a deeper understanding of academic material through
individually designed Honors Contracts. Honors Contracts present students and instructors
with a unique opportunity to create academically insightful projects or processes
in potentially any class.
