Group Training

Does your company or organization seek to boost the job skills of its employees? If so, consider partnering with OCCC for group education opportunities tailored to your needs!

Students frequently want to complete a specified workforce curriculum pattern of fewer than 60 credit hours, which will allow them to meet the certification requirements of various state agencies or other external certifying groups. As a result, certificate programs are offered in a number of career areas.

A micro-credential is a qualification focused on specific professional or career disciplines. Micro-credentials generally consist of up to nine hours of credit courses that provide specific career critical knowledge, skills, and abilities that can be easily transferred to the workforce. Micro-credentials may also be earned through non-credit activities, projects, or workshops. Micro-credentials are subsets of our degree and certificate programs.

Badges are digital assets to show a learning achievement like a micro-credential or certificate. They contain metadata that provides context and verification.

Credly hosts OCCC’s digital badges. Once earned, an individual can share a digital badge on social media, resumés, email signatures, or digital badge wallets.
