Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Allied Health Program at Oklahoma City Community College, students will be able to:

  • Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses required for Allied Health program using scientific and mathematical methods.
  • Demonstrate competency in foundational scientific concepts and laboratory techniques through successful completion of core Biology and Chemistry coursework required for Allied Health programs, including microscopy, measurement, solution preparation, data collection, and safe laboratory practices.
  • Communicate scientific information effectively through written laboratory reports, data presentation, and oral discussions using appropriate scientific terminology.
  • Apply laboratory techniques and safe chemical handling practices to conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results accurately.
