English Pre-Education/Literature

Upon successful completion of the English Pre-Education/Literature Program at Oklahoma City Community College, students will be able to:

• Understand the history and evolution of the English language.
• Become well versed in a variety of cultures and backgrounds through literature.
• Study marginalized groups and their cultures through their literature.
• Accomplish writing and analysis revolving around literature.
• Understand the importance of specific movements throughout human history and their differences among other cultures.
