Political Science/Pre-Law

Upon successful completion of the Political Science/Pre-Law Program at Oklahoma City Community College, students will be able to:

• Distinguish between the principles of government to the U.S. Constitutional System.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify the development, evolution, and applications of the major political institutions of American Federal Government.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform a variety of light research tasks at an acceptable college level on major government topics such as the Constitution, federalism, civil liberties, civil rights, or political institutions.
• Analyze multiple national governments from a theoretical and structural perspective.
  Critically analyze government issues in both oral and written formats at an acceptable college level.
