About
Professor Daubenspeck has over 25 years of experience teaching English, humanities, and film at colleges and universities in Oklahoma, California, and Florida. In addition to OCCC, he has taught at UCLA, Santa Monica College, Broward College, and the University of Oklahoma. He has written nine feature‑length screenplays and earned numerous awards for his writing. He is a two-time CineStory Screenwriting Fellowship finalist, an Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Fellowship finalist, and recipient of the Jack Nicholson Prize in Screenwriting.
