The Student Computer Science Ambassador Program aims to engage passionate students of Oklahoma City Community College to promote computer science. Ambassadors will share their technical expertise, uphold professionalism, and foster a positive image of both OCCC and the Computer Science Department.

Eligibility

  • Be a current OCCC student declared as a computer science major.
  • Remain in good academic and conduct standing.
  • Commit to attending all volunteered events.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor representing OCCC and the CS Department.

Expectations

  • Be available for 10-15 hours per semester for engagement activities.
  • An additional five to 10 hours per semester may be required for orientation and professional development.

Ways to Earn Hours

  • Outreach and recruitment.
  • Mentoring.
  • Public speaking.
  • Content creation.
