Paid Time Off

As a regular, full-time employee, you earn:

Personal Leave:

Four (4) days per year accrue at the rate of eight hours on Sept. 1, Nov. 1, Feb. 1 and April 1.

Sick Leave:

Eight (8) hours per month

Vacation:

0-5 years 8 hours per month
5-10 years 10 hours per month
10-15 years 12 hours per month
15-20 years 14 hours per month
20+ years 16 hours per month


Holidays:

Oklahoma City Community College employees receive the following paid holidays each year:

  • New Year's Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Five (5) working days at Spring Break
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Break — from the Monday before Thanksgiving Day to the Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Winter Break — all weekdays beginning Dec. 24 through Jan. 1

*Employees (including faculty) on nine- or 10-month contract do not accrue vacation leave
